Pest Inspection

We have several pest inspection companies that we use to look for wood-destroying insects, such as termites, carpenter ants, or powder-post beetles and give their certification. We will usually try to have the pest inspection at the time of the home inspection for the convenience of all parties.

Energy Inspections

Home Inspection Technologies offers energy inspections which will put your new home in top condition-comfortable to live in, warm in the winter, cool in the summer and with energy costs under control. This inspection is not included in the average home inspection, but can be performed after you move in. After the energy inspection you will receive a detailed report with recommended improvements, an analysis of estimated costs and the savings for each recommendation, and options to help implement them.

Thermal Imaging

Home Inspection Technologies also offers infrared thermography evaluations, which is not part of the average home inspection. This inspection involves the use of an infrared imaging camera to see and measure thermal energy emitted from an object. Infrared thermography is a non-invasive means of monitoring and diagnosing the condition of a home. It is an extra service offered to help diagnose water intrusion, energy loss or electrical overheating.
